Rupert Sanderson is a show designer known for simple but stunning footwear designs. He left a career in advertising to learn how to make shoes at Cordwainers, before taking a summer break to ride around Italy visiting traditional shoe factories to learn his craft. He was soon working in Italy at famous fashion houses before setting off to design his own collection based on a 'less is more' aesthetic.
