The Yeezy 700 V1 is a super popular, eye-catching silhouette – personally, it’s the chunky look of the shoe that I’m fond of. The colourway I often wear is the OG colourway: ‘Waverunner’. The vibrant accents of this colourway give the silhouette a little fair.
How do Yeezy 700 V1s fit?
In my opinion, the Yeezy 700 V1 feels better on my feet if I size up by half a size. I’m typically a size 10, but I opted for a 10.5. I would recommend those with wide feet go up a whole size. Really, you want a snug feel that’s comfortable and doesn’t require you to overthink your sock choice.
How do you style Yeezy 700 V1s?
A Yeezy 700 V1 is an incredible addition to any sneaker rotation. The shoe itself is super versatile: the chunky silhouette works well with both tight and baggy trousers. I especially love the way the shoe wraps around the ankle – it’s super clean.
Today, I’ve already styled the V1s in two different ways. I started my day by pairing them with some baggy black pants that sit perfectly on the sneakers. Later on, I decided to style them with a navy pinstripe set that compliments the colours of the shoes.

I find Yeezy 700 V1s to be very comfortable. The materials of the shoe allow your feet to breathe, and the Boost midsole experience is what I imagine it feels like to walk on clouds.

I take a lot of care of my Yeezy 700s: after wearing them, I wipe the midsole with a paper towel and store them with stuffing inside of them to preserve the shoe’s shape.

The dad shoe trend is still going strong, and my favourite chunky sneaker is the Yeezy 700. It’s definitely my top pick because it’s fresh, comfortable and reliable.
How comfortable are Yeezy 700s?
The Yeezy 700 is, without a doubt, one of the comfiest sneakers I’ve ever worn. Of course, the comfort comes from the full-length Boost sole. I would say the Yeezy 700 V1 is a lot more rigid than the Yeezy Boost 350 V2. Although, the V1 does feel more comfortable the more you wear them.
How do Yeezy 700 V1s fit?
Sizing is subjective as everyone likes their shoes to fit differently, but, in my opinion, you should opt for a size up when purchasing Yeezy 700 V1s. The toe box is tight and shallow, and it always feels nicer to wear shoes that provide some wiggle room. Nevertheless, the shoe does loosen a little with wear, so do not stress if you find that your Yeezy 700s feel a little snug fresh out of the box.
How do Yeezy 700 V2s fit?
The Yeezy 700 V2 has the same chunky midsole as the Yeezy 700 V1 and is updated with new materials and reflective 3M accents. Due to the primeknit construction of the V2's upper, the shoe doesn’t require the same amount of padding as the V1; ergo, the shoe is not as snug as the V1. Therefore, you’re safe to stick with your true size when opting for the V2.

Although the Yeezy 700 features a thick Boost midsole, the shoe is surprisingly lightweight and flexible. I would definitely recommend the Yeezy 700 to anyone looking for a comfortable everyday sneaker.

The 700 Wave Runner fits snug because of the narrow toe box; therefore, I definitely recommend going half a size up.
How do Yeezy V2s fit?
The second iteration of the sneaker comes with an elastic that holds the tongue in place and extra padding. Therefore I’d recommend sticking with your true size when purchasing this sneaker.
How comfortable are Yeezy 700s?
Both the V1 and V2 sneakers are super comfortable; but, for me, the V2s are definitely more comfortable. With the V2, Yeezy has removed most of the padding and constructed the upper with primeknit, allowing for extra room at the toe box. The V2 also features an ortholite insole and a cloth underlining, so now you are directly walking on Boost foam.
