From the moment the Miyake Design Studio launched in 1970, Issey Miyake has been a celebration of modern life. Grounded in purpose and technical innovation, pants are central to the brand's uniform. Now led by Artistic Director Satoshi Kondo, cropped and wide-leg designs are often cut from one piece of fabric, inspired by the 1997 ‘A Piece of Cloth’ initiative. While flared pants match with plissé-effect tops, dresses create the same seamless aesthetic.
