LATAM Import Restrictions
Imports of footwear, footwear components, clothing, bags and accessories to Mexico exceeding USD 2 500 per order, may be subject to customs withholding. This can be applied to any order containing the above products, especially those above 2 500 USD.
The competent authorities (or we, FARFETCH, at the request of these authorities) may apply for the import license or other documents — such as the NOM letter, an order conferred, among others — which will be restricted to a formal import process that may require the registration in the Register of Importers and/or Register of Importers of Specific Sectors (Footwear or Textile), or the use of a customs agent. Any of these processes are not FARFETCH's responsibility, so they must be handled by the customer themselves.
If your product was held at customs, you will not be able to cancel the purchase until you meet the requirements of the Tax Authorities, or until you request the return of the package to its place of origin with the corresponding mail company. In case you want to make any change or return, you must have the customs service deliver your products to the FARFETCH Returns Logistics Agent.
If you receive an alert about the procedures claimed, either through DHL or a customs agent, and you do not respond during the designated legal term, or even if you begin to reach an agreement but fail to do so for any reason, FARFETCH will consider the transaction completed for all purposes and you will not be able to request reimbursement.
If your order becomes held at customs, please respond to communications from DHL or any customs representative in an efficient manner and contact FARFETCH Customer Service as soon as possible.
Background to the requirement:

The Ministry of Finance and Public Credit issued an extension to this request, effective March 2015, which was revoked as of June 20.

As we cannot tell you the exact amount you would have to pay, we recommend contacting the local customs office or tax authority before placing a Delivery On Site (DAP) order.
