When Hattie Carnegie left Austria as a teenager, headed to New York, her future was uncertain. With a now remarkable life story, Hattie Carnegie is one of fashions most impressive entrepreneurs. Beginning her own business in 1909, by 1940 she owned a multimillion dollar business and was one of the most successful American Fashion Houses of the time. Her jewellery played an integral part in her head to toe collections and her stylish designs successfully stand the test of time.
