The first memorable carré of Antoine Tzapoff, entitled "Cosmogonie Apache", is dedicated to one of the First Nations tribes from Hermès Winter collection 2011.
In the center of the composition, a virile Apache warrior, dressed in a magnificent battle dress, has the piercing gaze. He is wearing falcon and golden eagle feathers: the first one is spotted, the second ones are marked with the black and white dramatic contrast. These feathers are not mere ornaments.
As these birds of prey are distinguished respectively by their supernatural speed and ferocity, each feather returns to prowess in battle, just like military medals. The First Nation people had believed also that they protect their lives.
