Like the Yeezy Combat Boot that came before it, the Yeezy Desert Boot is created with a premium suede; unlike previous Yeezy Boot designs, the suede is combined with a spongy mesh that’s just as comfortable as it is practical. The shoe also boasts a super chunky sole, a pair of thick laces and a tongue pull tab. It truly is one of the most practical boots on the market.

The Yeezy Desert Boot is a modern and fashionable take on a performance boot – it’s lightweight, stylish and extremely comfortable to wear for extended periods. One of my favourite things about the Yeezy Desert Boot is the bulky look that comes without the mass of a heavyweight boot.
The Yeezy Desert Boot comes in many colourways, but the one I’ve been rocking lately is the ‘Oil’ boot. In true Yeezy fashion, the colourway is an earthy hue that pairs well with contemporary pieces.
How does the Yeezy Desert Boot fit?
If you own a pair of Yeezy 350 V2s, I’d recommend opting for the same size in Yeezy Desert Boots; if you don’t own a pair of 350s, your best bet is to size up at least half a size. Why? Well, the Yeezy Desert Boot is narrow and has a tight toe box, so, sizing up will allow your feet to breathe without having too much space to move around.

I love wearing workwear-orientated ensembles which typically consist of work pants or cargos paired with layered jackets, shirts and tees. The Yeezy Desert Boot seamlessly integrates into my style.

The Yeezy Desert Boot is extremely comfortable! I often wear them for extended periods, and my feet never hurt whilst I’m wearing them. Other shoes of a similar style tend to be a little more uncomfortable, thus, I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried the Yeezy Desert Boot on.
How do you care for your Yeezy Desert Boots?
The upper of the Yeezy Desert Boot consists of suede and mesh. On the off-chance that I do get these a little dirty, I use a suede eraser to clean off the marks. If a deeper clean is required, I use a sneaker cleaning product. I don’t find myself needing to clean these shoes very often as the rugged sole effectively protects the boots.

The Yeezy Desert Boot is sure to be the greatest shoe staple in your wardrobe, no matter your style. The colourway that you’re likely to see me sporting is the 'Taupe Blue' pair released in Spring ‘21. I love this colourway as it's perfect for adding a pop of colour to a predominantly neutral fit.

From my personal experience, the Yeezy Desert Boot doesn’t fit true to size. In most Yeezy silhouettes, I’m a size 12, but I wear these in a size 13 and they’re still a little snug. Therefore, I’d recommend sizing up by a whole size.
How do you style your Yeezy Desert Boots?
Others may reserve their Yeezy Desert Boots for certain weather conditions, but I keep my pair in my shoe rotation all year round. Not too many boots work well with shorts, but, in my personal opinion, these look great with any kind of bottoms. For today’s look, I opted for calm everyday pieces inspired by the colours of the shoe.

Yeezy Desert Boots can be uncomfortable if you opt for the wrong size. However, if you opt for a suitable size, you’re going to find the boots super comfy which is surprising considering the model’s tough, rugged look.
How do you care for your Yeezy Desert Boots?
I don’t clean my shoes – I prefer them to accrue dirt marks and scruffs. But, if I was to clean this pair, I would simply use soap, water and a soft-bristle toothbrush.
Like most of my shoes, I store my Yeezy Desert Boots in their original box. Having said that, I’m looking to invest in some clear boxes that allow me to find specific pairs quickly and easily.

For the Yeezy Desert Boot, adidas and Kanye West took design cues from the Yeezy 500 to create a hiking boot. The pair I own are the Yeezy Desert Boot ‘Oil’ boots – essentially, it’s a dark brown colour. The reason why I picked this colourway is that I love the earthy vibe of the shoe. Plus, I love that it’s a little darker than other neutral tints meaning it hardly ever looks dirty.
How does the Yeezy Desert Boot fit?
When it comes to Yeezy Desert Boot sizing, I’m usually an EU44, but in these, I’m an EU45. Since the materials used to construct the shoe are moderately thick, the boot has a snug feel. I would recommend sizing up with these, especially if, like me, you have wide feet.
I guess the fit of the shoe also depends on the way you prefer to lace your boots. Personally, I like to let the laces hang a little to give the shoe a touch more character. Of course, by doing this my shoes fit looser than they would if I tightly laced them up to the top of the shoe.

The thing I love about these boots is that they’re very versatile. I initially bought them for winter, but I noticed during the summer that they work just as well with shorts as they do trousers. Today, I’m wearing neutral pieces that harmonise with the shoe; but don’t be afraid to experiment as these shoes are super versatile.
How comfortable is the Yeezy Desert Boot?
I find the Yeezy Desert Boots super comfortable because they mould perfectly around your feet (providing that you purchase them in a suitable size). I can say with confidence that the Yeezy Desert Boot is a hell of a lot more comfortable than my boots from high-end designers.
How do you care for your Yeezy Desert Boots?
Aforesaid, I’ve got a pair of the Yeezy Desert Boots in the ‘Oil’ colourway – a dark brown colour that hides dirt, marks and stains. The only thing I really do to keep good care of them is spray them with a sneaker spray to protect them against any spills. I also make sure to store them on my shoe rack to avoid them getting dusty.

The Yeezy Desert Boot is not only one of my favourite Yeezys, but it’s also one of my favourite shoes ever. I love how the silhouette is formed of a nubuck, suede and mesh upper that’s surprisingly easy to care for. When I initially saw the ‘'Taupe' and Oil’ colourways, I instantly knew I had to have a pair of each!
How does the Yeezy Desert Boot fit?
For my first pair – my 'Taupe' pair – I opted for my true size, and they didn’t fit so well. So, by the time the ‘Oil’ colourway dropped, I knew I had to opt for a full size up. I recommend everyone learns from my mistakes!

I find the Yeezy Desert Boot pretty comfortable – the comfort is largely thanks to the shoe’s thick insole. But, as I mentioned above, you must opt for a size up from your regular size.

I keep my boots inside the original box with the original stuffing inside of them. When I clean the shoes, I usually use a sneaker wipe – but, in all honesty, they’re pretty durable and usually look clean. You can even wear them in the rain!

The Yeezy Desert Boot first released in 2018. Since day one, I’ve liked the look of the boots; I instantly knew I had to have them. When they first dropped, I copped a pair of the ‘Graphite’ boots; in 2019, a pair of the ‘Oil’ boots; in 2021, a pair of the ‘Taupe Blue’ and restocked ‘Rock’ boots. One of my favourite things about the boots is that Ye was spotted sporting the silhouette circa 2018 – if they’re good enough for him, they’re good enough for me.

The Yeezy Desert Boot runs small. For this reason, I always go up half a size from my usual adidas Yeezy size. I’d suggest others do the same, or consider going a full size up.
How do you style your Yeezy Desert Boots?
Baggy pants and sweatpants work best with the Yeezy Desert Boot. Recently, I’ve been pairing my ‘Rock’ Yeezy Desert Boots with Carhartt tees and pants, a fitted hat and a bag. The whole workwear style that’s currently en vogue pairs well with the silhouette.
How comfortable is the Yeezy Desert Boot?
To be honest, I think previous Yeezy boots made outside of adidas are more comfortable than the adidas Yeezy Desert Boots. Having said that, I still love them! They are strong boots that you can wear for hours on end, and they're perfect for the wintertime.
How do you care for your Yeezy Desert Boots?
To care for the suede on the upper of the Yeezy Desert Boots, I use a dry brush. The rubber mudguard and sole is super easy to clean: all you have to do is wipe the dirt off of them.
I try to store my Yeezy Desert Boots in their original box after every wear. I do this to ensure the shoes don’t lose their colour and the suede stays in optimum condition.
