The name Aliita means ‘important object’ in the native language of the Guajiros Indigenous people, whose ancestral lands are located in Zulia, Venezuela — where Cynthia Vilchez Castiglioni, the founder of the brand, grew up. This idea of important objects runs throughout the fine jewellery collection. Everyday objects, such as tennis rackets, cameras and boats, are elevated and set in gold, sitting alongside precious stones on charm bracelets and necklaces.
