Rodarte

Rodarte is a brand founded by Kate and Laura Mulleavy in California in 2005. The first collection, comprised of 10 hand-finished pieces, appeared on a February 2005 cover of Women’s Wear Daily within days of their first trip to New York. Shortly thereafter, Rodarte presented its first complete runway collection to accolades during New York Fashion Week. Rodarte is now stocked globally by more than 40 of the world’s premiere retailers, and is in the permanent collection of both the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Fashion institute of Technology Museum in New York.
