Le Coq Sportif (or the sporty rooster in English) is a classic French sportswear company founded in 1948 by Émile Camuset. The brand’s famous cockerel logo is based on the national symbol of France. In recent years Le Coq Sportif’s trainers have developed a cult-like following among certain European style tribes and the most in-demand styles have been picked up by hip street-wear boutiques such as Nipiland.
