Dior's Saddle bag debuted in 1999 on the runway of Galliano’s cowboy-inspired SS00 collection and takes its silhouette inspiration from the namesake riding kit. The iconic Oblique pattern compounds the archival references – it’s named after an AW50 collection and first emerged on a 1969 haute couture bag by Marc Bohan. With respect to its heritage craftsmanship, the jacquard canvas used to create this beige version is made in the historical workshop in the Flanders region of France. The colourful red, yellow and green accents hail from the 2004 Rasta collection from which it originates.
