Knitwear season is upon us (hallelujah!) and for 2018 it’s bigger (literally) and better than ever. Oversized proportions dominated the runways for AW and the knitwear offering was particularly voluminous. From jumpers and scarves to the ultimate comeback king - the cardigan - there’s something big, cozy and almost criminally comfy for everyone.

From the moment Lenny Kravitz was spotted wearing THAT scarf, designers have been making a case for oversized neckwear. Pair this Rick Owens scarf with an equally voluminous jumper and a more streamlined bottom half. Layer it loosely over everything you wear this winter and enjoy feeling like you’re still wrapped up in a blanket at home.

The cardigan
It’s the knitwear micro trend that fashion editors were wearing way back in September at the SS fashion shows that’s been having a moment ever since. Shrug your oversized cardigan over a silk slip dress and add trainers. Much cooler than how grandpa used to wear it.
