For die-hard fashion fans, it’s always a smart idea to keep an eye on upcoming design talent. After all, you could be investing in a future superstar. From Charles Jeffrey Loverboy’s sartorial theatrics to the youthful interpretation that won Marine Serre the LVMH prize, this season’s ones to watch are as diverse as they are innovative. Presenting the new names to drop in stylish circles...

Rokh

Former Céline, Louis Vuitton and Chloé alumnus Rok Hwang has a C.V to die for. The South Korean designer launched his own label, Rokh, in 2016 and has quickly carved out an exciting visual identity exploring self-expression and youth culture. What to expect from this London-based brand? Deconstructed pieces, but with timeless sensibility.

Charles Jeffrey Loverboy

Charles Jeffrey Loverboy is exactly the kind of designer who justifies London’s reputation as a hotbed for emerging talent: A Glasgow-born, radical creative tearing up the rulebook of British fashion with his club-night-turned-fashion-label. Collection highlights? Armour-like leather, unisex ‘Dribble’ tees and more gender-bending style discoveries.

Khaite

Looking for elevated basics? As designer Cate Holstein well knows, the easiest pieces to wear can often prove hardest to find. Enter her label Khaite - there to revive your everyday wardrobe via polished staples with cool factor. Plus there’s an A-list fanbase who’ve cottoned onto Khaite: Lily Aldridge, Caroline de Maigret… Need we go on…

Marine Serre

Marine Serre is enjoying a well-deserved moment in the spotlight after winning the prestigious LVMH prize. How did she stand out from the rest? Easy. The French designer’s form-fitting silhouettes and unusual crescent-moon prints are speaking to like-minded millennials with a flavour for arty fashion.

Eckhaus Latta

Design double act Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta are all about diversity. Collections are gender non-binary, shows are street-cast, and as for the clothes - experimental designs are the cornerstones of their aesthetic. Logoed tees and hoodies come in structured silhouettes, of which the dualities of glamour and streetwear make for an exceptionally unique collection.
