I first came across the Amina Muaddi brand on Instagram a few years ago. Later that year, I spotted quite a few high-profile names wearing her shoes at the various fashion weeks around the world. I instantly fell in love with the bright colors of the heels; they’re so fun and chic. My first Amina Muaddi order was a pair of neon green Begum heels that I still adore to this day.
Here, I’m wearing the Olivia boot, which has become a favorite over-the-knee boot in my shoe collection. I love how easy it is to style: I can scrunch it down for a relaxed fit or pull it up high for a sleek look. The boot is my idea of a wardrobe staple as I know I’ll be reaching for it every winter – hence, I own both the black and brown versions.
Styling: The Olivia boot is very versatile and works well with everything, from leather leggings and mini skirts to little black dresses. You really can’t go wrong with a black leather boot, and the clear heel adds a touch of contemporary cool to any ensemble. Today, I’ve styled it with an Anthony Vaccarello black leather mini-dress, complete with metal mesh ruffle, for an edgy look that’s ideal for a night out.
Sizing and fit: When it comes to Amina Muaddi sizing, I’d recommend opting for your true size if you’re purchasing the boots or mules. However, if you’ve got your eye on a pair of slingbacks, I’d recommend opting for a half size down.
Comfort: I find the shoes to be exceptionally comfortable because the heel height is always manageable. Additionally, the flared heel makes it easy to walk in (well, easier than a thin stiletto), as the square base offers a larger surface area.
Care: I keep all of my shoes stored on my shoe shelves when I’m not wearing them. For taller boots and over-the-knee styles — like this Olivia boot — I stuff the shaft with tissue to ensure they stand upright.

I've known about Amina Muaddi since its inception; when the designer first launched the namesake label, I instantly became obsessed with her iconic, unusual designs. I first got to try on a pair of Amina Muaddi heels at Browns in London – it was such a special experience. They make you feel sexy, classy and chic, and they’re comfortable.
The Amina Muaddi x Awge Flacko sandals I’m wearing are my favorite shoes ever; they add a little sparkle to any outfit. I purchased this particular pair because it’s a collaboration between the fashion designer and one of my best-loved rappers, A$AP Rocky. As expected, they sold out rapidly when they were first released.
Styling: What I really appreciate about Amina Muaddi heels is that I can wear them in so many different ways. You could wear them with everything from a jeans and blazer combo to an evening dress. Today, I’m wearing my Muaddis with a cute loungewear look during the day and an off-white blazer and short ensemble during the evening. As you can see, I enjoy wearing these heels with understated outfits to ensure the heels are the most attention-grabbing piece.
Sizing and fit: I can confirm that Amina Muaddi heels fit true to size. I opted for my usual size (size 37), and I’m more than happy with the fit.
Comfort: I would give Amina Muaddi heels a 9/10 when it comes to comfort, chiefly because they’re super lightweight. They’re definitely one of the most comfortable heels on the market; I could easily wear them all day, every day.
Care: I like to keep my Amina Muaddi heels in their dust bags whenever possible, and I clean them regularly using standard cleaning products. I think they’re well made, ergo they’re a superb investment.

I started following designer Amina Muaddi on Instagram during her tenure at Alexandre Vauthier, and I was so excited when I found out that she was setting up her own brand. Her style, like mine, is feminine and edgy, which translates into her designs. Each heel is fun and unique and offers the perfect way to add something a little extra to your outfit. I love all of the pairs I own and I can’t wait to add more to my collection.
Styling: Here, I’ve styled my Cinderella-esque Amina Muaddi slingback heels with a flowy, neutral-toned outfit that has a romantic vibe; but I must say that the heels work with virtually any ensemble. You could wear these with everything for any occasion – I’ve worn mine to baby showers, engagement parties, dinners and more. Every time I wear them, I receive an abundance of compliments.
Sizing and fit: Personally, I’d suggest sizing up when purchasing a pair of Amina Muaddi slingback heels. I opted for a half size up, but it may be wise to go a full size up – especially if, like me, you have wide feet.
Comfort: I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Amina Muaddi shoes are extremely comfortable, which I put down to the square base of the heel.
Care: To look after my Amina Muaddi heels, I wipe them down after using baby wipes or a wet towel. Because they’re made out of PVC, the dirt isn’t always so noticeable; for this reason, I clean them after every use. When I’m at home, I keep all of my shoes on a shelving unit and out of sunlight, and when I’m travelling, I keep them in their dust bags.

Ever since I purchased my first pair of Amina Muaddi heels, I’ve not been able to stop buying them – I’m a Muaddi addict! Each time she releases a new colorway or style, I become obsessed with it; she is so creative with her designs. The style I’m wearing today is the Lupita: it’s a simple, stylish mule embellished with crystals.
Styling: The Lupita mule literally goes with everything – I’ve worn them with jeans, joggers and dresses. I’ve even worn them to a wedding. Here, I’ve styled them with a pair of split-hem leggings (perfect for showing off such a cute shoe) and an oversized tee – it’s a smart-casual look that you could wear to a dinner or date.
Sizing and fit: I went for my true size and they fit perfectly. The opening of the mule is a little roomy, so, I think if I sized up my toes would overshoot the front. Hence, sticking to your true size is the best option.
Comfort: I find Amina Muaddi Lupita mules to be super comfortable. The shape of the heel makes the Lupitas very easy to walk in and the suede is so soft. Plus, I think the heel height is perfect: they’re not crazy high, but they’re not kitten heels, either.
Care: Most importantly, I don’t wear my Amina Muaddi mules in bad weather. I always like to wipe down the soles of the shoes after I’ve used them, just to keep them looking their best. I also make sure these shoes are not stored too close to others, so the crystals stay intact.

I came across Amina Muaddi’s personal Instagram account months before I purchased a pair of her Gilda crystal-embellished mules. I instantly fell in love with them, especially the distinctive heel structure. Every time I wear them they make me feel pretty, dainty and elegant.
Styling: I’ve recently discovered my favorite trousers to wear with my Amina Muaddi heels – stacked jeans. They’re somewhere between baggy and fitted, a silhouette that perfectly complements the pointed toe and heel of my Gildas. Needless to say, this isn’t the only way I style them – I also like to wear them with streetwear and casual-chic pieces. And with summer fast approaching, I’m excited to rock them with skirts and dresses, too.
Sizing and fit: Personally, I think opting for your true size is sensible, as the shoes seem to fit true to size.
Comfort: The Amina Muaddi Gilda mules require a little bit of breaking in, but once you get used to them – and they get used to you – they are perfectly comfortable. Plus, the height on them is ideal.
Care: Typically, I give my Amina Muaddi heels a quick wipe after I wear them to keep them looking brand new.
