The concept of “Air” in Nike soles wasn’t new, but in 1987’s Air Max 1 was the first with technology showcasing a visible unit. Featuring a lightweight and well-cushioned construction, these go-anywhere sneakers were created for speed and impact. Here, they were customized and remodelled with new fabrics and colour combinations.
