1998 elephant motif Cadena padlock

Robert Dumas created the Kelly bag and with it the renowned Cadena padlock. This fastening became a symbol of Hermès’ fashion influence, with its subtly engraved H signature. From an exquisite accessory, the Cadena became the centre of attention and the brand designed a special collection of padlocks. This particular one from 1998 has a polished finish on its gold-plated brass and displays an elegant motif.
