The construction of Issey Miyake's Aerate skirt is a redux of the methods used by the eponymous founder for his last show in ’98. It’s ‘created by twisting a cylinder of seamless ribbed knit into an S shape’ that wraps and drapes around the form, expanding and contracting with each step.
