No designer does old-school glamour - and pretty, playful details for that matter - quite like illustrious fashion house Dolce & Gabbana. You can count on the label’s cinched silhouettes and demure hemlines to deliver classic femininity season after season. But what are the style-savvy bloggers’ stand-out pieces? We catch-up with five fashion influencers, who give us the lowdown on their forever favourites…

'I'm wearing the polka dot cold-shoulder top, which is one of my absolute favourite pieces from the SS17 collection. Polka dot is a go-to print for me all year round, but it's especially perfect for Spring; it's fun and flirty without being too 'in your face' and adds an instant pop to any outfit. To allow the print - as well as the shoulder detailing and ruffle neck - to do the talking, I paired it with some rust coloured high-waisted trousers and a pair of cat-eye sunglasses. However, I think it'd also look great toughened-up tucked in some leather trousers or a leather mini, or paired with some cut-off denim shorts and a straw hat for a simple summer look. A perfectly versatile S/S investment piece!'

'Spring is on it's way (or at least, us Brits are hoping it's somewhere on it's way to us!) and we all know what that means - yup, it's time for the florals to resurface! Nothing quite says Spring Summer like a good old statement floral print and you know that no matter the season, no matter the year, florals will always be around in one form or another at this time of year. Yeah I know what you're all thinking. "Florals for spring? Groundbreaking." Whilst it's true that florals are definitely a recurring feature of Spring, it's also true that designers like to put a spin on them and we needn't ever worry that it's going to be the same old, same old every year. Dolce and Gabbana have got it spot on this year with big, bold flowers like the print on this beautiful pair of shorts, creating a piece that looks like it should belong in an art gallery rather than on a coat hanger. They're fun and bold yet laid-back and casual, feminine yet edgy and all in all, the shorts are the perfect piece to take you through the warmer months.'

'I think having a pair of well-fitting black heels is such a must in every wardrobe. Whether you go for suede, leather or faux material, they'll see you through everything from casual day-dates to evenings out. I love dressing this pair from Dolce and Gabbana down with denim, a Breton stripe and a relaxed blazer - it's the perfect combination for running around and looking off-duty, but still having the height and chic look from the heels! They're so comfortable too.'
Kim | Sweet Monday
'I absolutely adore this pair of Dolce & Gabbana black embroidered mules, because they go with every piece of clothing in my spring wardrobe, making them the perfect shoe for transitioning into a new season.
Although predominantly black in colour, their baroque pattern and gemstone embellishment, give the mules a hint of fun and playfulness, perfect for wearing dressed down with a pair of boyfriend jeans in the day. Add a cropped jacket and a nude lip, and these Dolce & Gabbana mules are instantly transformed from day to night, being the perfect slip-on shoe for dinner and drinks. Thus making them a great investment piece that will withstand the shift in seasons, and will allow you to wear them al l year round.
I chose to style the mules with a simple grey knit, black leather jacket and skinny black jeans, to keep the outfit simple and understated, allowing the shoes to be the talking point of the outfit.'

'I chose two understated pieces from the D&G SS17 collection – a collection known for it’s bold, loud and colourful prints. For me, Spring/ Summer is about clean, minimialism, and I love that D&G always keeps room for this. Timeless elegance is always an underlying theme with their collections, and one of the reasons I come back every season to find new pieces to fall in love with.
Here I’m wearing oversized sunglasses, and peach lace espadrilles. I’ve paired them with a casual denim look to create an effortless chic look. The espadrilles add a subtle pop of colour while the sunglasses keep this outfit cool and sophisticated. These two pieces I have chosen from the SS17 are pieces that I know I will wear again and again with all the neutral tones that inhabit my wardrobe.'
