Love them or hate them, the new Yeezy slides have your attention. Whether you think they look like hospital clogs, or the future of footwear, you can’t deny that Kanye West has done it again. While the first pair of Yeezy slides (which Ye famously wore comically undersized) were a classier take on the traditional Adilette-style shape, his latest slip-ons look very much like the future of sandals. Trust Yeezy to revolutionise footwear again. And this is just the beginning. With the croc-style ‘Foam Runner’ (which is proudly made in America from algae making it both sustainable and local) on its way, and more slides seen on the Yeezy Season 8 runway it feels like a full-on sandal revolution is underway. And if the latest Yeezy slides are anything to go by, in the future everything will be super comfortable and seem like its made of Play-Doh.
If you’re wondering ‘when are the Yeezy slides dropping?’ then the sad truth is you’ve been caught sleeping – you already missed them. But don’t sweat, though the original four colourways have been and gone, there are two new colourways – ‘Core’ and ‘Soot’ – dropping this fall. That gives you at least two months to figure out the answer to the very necessary question of ‘how do the Yeezy slides fit’?

I was obsessed with the new Yeezy slides on Instagram before they released. I love the chunky sole and the colour tones that Kanye used for these slides. Also, I was jealous of some of Kim and Kanye’s outfits where they wore these slides like sneakers. I wanted to pull-off them off as well as they did. I’m very happy that finally I have them, they’re one of the best things I copped this year.
Styling:
Today I’m wearing my Yeezy slide bone colourway, matching Calabasas socks, Off-White x Champion shorts, and a simple oversized white t-shirt. I like this outfit because it features one of the biggest trends this season – socks and slides with shorts – it’s the perfect outfit for drinks or walks with friends. In the evening I’ll just add a denim jacket or an oversized double-breasted blazer in an earth tone. I also wear them with a black blazer and shorts for a very stylish casual evening look. This is the best time of the season to wear these slides, and with the amount of use I’ve got out of them already, they’re really good value for money.
Sizing & fit:
I suggest you take one size bigger from your usual Yeezy size as the fit is not true to size. In comparison with other slides, I’d suggest you take at least one size bigger or even a size and a half if you want them to even comfier. All my slides a European size 43, but my Yeezy slides are a EU44.5.
The slides are very comfy, I wear mine all day and go everywhere in them. These slides feel more like a new pair of sneakers, they’re that comfy. Yeezy slides are better than other slides as the chunky sole and the material makes them feel more high-fashion. They’re not made from your typical plastic or leather so they have a different look and feel.
Care:
Take care of the Yeezy slides like you would a usual pair of slides. The only time that I avoid wearing them is on a beach day because the material wasn’t made for all the sun, salt, sand etc. Every time I wear them, I clean them at the end of the day with a wet wipe to keep them looking brand new.

The Yeezy slides looked so comfortable to me. I knew they would be the perfect mix between comfort and style during this summer. I love the shape. You immediately recognise Kanye West’s touch within its minimalist silhouette. I bought them because I wanted to pair the Yeezy slides with my summer looks. I wanted some simple yet super original shoes to finish my looks with. I also love the colour of the Yeezy slides. I’m currently a big fan of monochrome looks so I immediately loved the colour of the slides. They’ve been the perfect shoes during quarantine.
Styling:
I wore a green monochromatic look to match my Yeezy slides – comfy wide-legged pants to match the comfort of the shoe and a little summer top. To finish, I added some big glasses for a more streetwear look. Comfort is my main style inspiration when I wear my Yeezy slides. This outfit works just as well when chilling at home as it does for a little walk around the neighbourhood.
Sizing & fit:
Take your normal size as the Yeezy slides are true to size. The Yeezy slides on feet silhouette is huge compared to other sandals so if you take a size up it can make your feet look extra big.
Comfort is the main reason that I chose to buy the Yeezy slides, and they are the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever worn. The material along with the wide strapless shape makes your feet feel really comfortable.
Care:
You can keep the shoes quite clean with just a sponge and some soap and water.

The minimalistic approach and pure comfort are what make the Yeezy Slide one of the best on the market. Its unique bulky design is what drew me to them. Their price point is also super affordable so I thought that they’d at least be worth checking out. Since slipping them on my feet they’ve become one of my most worn shoes in 2020. I think these make awesome house shoes, they’re perfect for relaxing in after a long day. I hope they release more colourways in the near future because I definitely need to add another pair into the rotation.
Styling:
Today I’m wearing my Yeezy Slides with sweats. To me, these look and feel the best when you are wearing a more relaxed and comfortable outfit.
Sizing & fit:
When it comes to Yeezy slides sizing they fit small. My recommendation is that you at least go a half size up. If you have wider feet you may need to go a full size up.
Comfort-wise I’ll give these a 9/10. I don’t think you will find a more comfortable slide on the market at this price point. They do come out of the box super stiff however so you’ll need to break them in. But give it a full day of wear and your foot will sink right in.
Care:
Cleaning the slides is relatively easy. Invest in a sneaker cleaner kit if you don’t have one, otherwise a small brush and soapy water will do the job. Be careful though, if you scuff the slides you won’t be able to repair or clean away any marks.

These slides were very interesting to me because of their unusual shape and structure. Also, since they are Yeezy I love the culture and street style they represent. The colourways were what sold me though, it was unusual to find such earthy muted tones in other brands especially when it comes to slides. Slides haven't been explored as much as other silhouettes so this pair stood out with their uniqueness and low price point. Not only did the Yeezy slides strike me as the next ‘it’ shoe but they were also a stylish spin on a casual closet staple.
Styling:
For this outfit I styled the slides in a very day-to-day way, I wore them with some plain white socks, an oversized Essentials by Fear Of God t-shirt alongside some neutral accessories like this black bum bag, black cat-eye sunnies and some gold jewellery. This type of outfit is my go-to for days where I want to be extra comfortable yet look stylish in an effortless way. Anything oversized is my favourite and something I always recommend when shopping for t-shirts or sweatshirts is to get them at least two sizes bigger. They’re not only cosier but also instantly elevate your outfit and make it look so much cooler. I normally style my Yeezy slides with either an oversized t-shirt or sweatshirt worn as a dress, or joggers and a tighter tank or crop top. I always wear them with different socks to change up the look and add my staple gold rings and hoops for an added ‘I got dressed up today’ flare.
Sizing & fit:
In terms of sizing, I would say the Yeezy slides fit the same as the rest of the Yeezy styles. I have a 7.5 in the 350s and got an 8 in the slides because when I purchased them they only had full sizes. Going up half a size was preferable as they’re open-toed shoes and I'd rather have extra room at the toes than have my feet poking out the front. Since they are part of the Yeezy family, which tends to fit small, I would recommend sizing up. For reference, my feet measurements are around 25cm and in high-street brands I wear a women's 8, in Gucci I wear a women's 7, and in Yeezy I wear a men's 7.5/8.
The Yeezy slides feel like walking on clouds! I expected them to be comfortable from looking at the picture but they were even better when I tried them on. Since they have no seams or edges they don't cause any cuts or scratches like some other slides might. Also having a very rounded silhouette makes them roomy in a way that means they could fit different types of feet in one size and still be comfortable. As I said earlier, I tend to wear mine with socks which makes them the ultimate comfort shoe and they have been the only shoe I've worn this whole quarantine. They are without a doubt the comfiest slides I have ever owned or tried on.
Care:
So far they have been pretty easy to care for, so easy I’ve barely had to clean them. The rubber makes them extremely easy to wipe down with any wet cloth and also makes them super water-resistant, which allows you to be more carefree when wearing them. I do have to say that having them in a lighter colourway makes any rub marks more noticeable, but I either wipe them down with warm water or I use some soap on a towel and they become clean again quickly. I do have the Crep Protect cleaning kit that I use on my other shoes but so far I haven't felt the need to use it on this pair. In general, I would say they are a pretty user-friendly shoe in terms of care, don't worry about them too much and clean them down a couple of times a month and you should be good.

Yeezy is very consistent with Kanye's vision, and he’s been making colour schemes very consistent for many seasons now. As soon as I saw the new adidas Yeezy slides I was all in. They are perfect for summer fits or even chilling at home. They feel nice and have a cool Yeezy vibe, which is what we need given the current situation in the world. The shape of them is just insane - some will hate them and others will love them (like me) but these chunky slides are so impressive. The colourways are also quite subdued so they go with a lot of different styles, which is why I fell in love with them
Styling:
I style my resin Yeezy slides with comfy outfits. What I love about this fit is that the earth tones all match and everything is in perfect harmony. My cosy green hoodie matches the nineties shape beige shorts, it looks so lit! But the main piece of this outfit are slides and socks, they make everything look complete. To keep it bossy, I added a little detail with my vintage Dior necklace. Yeezy slides also look good with baggy jeans, alongside trackpants and more casual trousers too.
Sizing & fit:
When it comes to the Yeezy slides sizing they fit smaller than Yeezy sneakers, so I needed to go one size up. If you have the right size the Yeezy slides are so comfy. It feels like you’re walking on clouds because they’re so spongy. I also like how once you put them on they hug the feet nicely and feel very stable. These slides are my go-to if I ever have to spend an entire day walking outdoors. Just keep in mind that if you have wider feet than you will need to go a half to one size up.
Care:
The greatest thing about these slides is that they’re very easy to clean, I’m so obsessed with having clean shoes so this is very important to me. I use a simple cloth wipe with detergent and that’s it! Just try not to scratch them because as I said they are very spongy. They’re a perfect option for anyone who doesn't want to spend hours on arduous cleaning. To protect against larger pieces of dirt, as with all my shoes I do spray them with a nano protector. Summer trips aren’t a threat to keeping these in good condition.
