TOGA was founded in 1997 by graduate of Esmod Paris, Yasuko Furuta from Gifu. Her first collection, presented in a showroom in 1997, caught the attention of many buyers and journalists. Since then the brand has become commercial success with over 30 stores world wide and a Spring Summer 2006 show debut at Paris women's Pret-a-Porter fashion week.
