Nike Air Max 1

The Nike Air Max 1 was born in 1987 when architect Tinker Hatfield embedded air cushioning in the soles of the brand's running shoes, revolutionising the sneaker market and changing the game forever. Thirty years on, and the Air Max style is the gift that keeps on giving with a series of icons being released over the years including the Nike Air Max 97 and Nike Air Jordan 1.
