John Galliano

Gibraltar born John Galliano is one of the true greats of British fashion. Famously every piece of his graduation collection at St. Martins School of Art, ‘Les Incroyables’ was bought by Joan Bernstein of London’s Browns boutique. Since starting his own label in 1984, he has been awarded the title of British Designer of the Year four times and has headed French fashion houses Givenchy and Dior. Galliano’s style is unique: eclectic, colourful and often heavily referenced, but based around a gifted understanding of fabric and cut.
