After graduating from New York’s F.I.T., Brazilian designer Daniella Helayel relocated to London in 1999. Here she set out designing unqiue dresses and accessories that garnered a quick reputation for their use of bold colors and striking prints, all inspired by her native Brazil. Helayel officially launched Issa in 1999 and introduced her first collection of chic, elegant womenswear to the runway in 2003.
