N.Peal opened in London’s Burlington Arcade in 1936, supplying the capital’s well-heeled with the finest quality cashmere. A favourite of the golden age of Hollywood, Ava Gardner, Marilyn Monroe and Cary Grant, all became loyal clients. More recently, in 2007 Sara Berman was tasked with reinvigorating the brand, successfully applying her love of colour, shape and print in a way that sits harmoniously with N.Peal’s historic reputation for traditional craftsmanship and quality.
