‘The inspiration for this collection comes from a personal place for me and Christine,’ says Josh Goot, co-founder of the New York-based label, of their latest tailoring collection. ‘These are the clothes that we want to wear.’ 'We work to create the perfect version of each singular wardrobe staple,’ adds Christine. Here, actor Katie Holmes, models Donovan Green and Bambi Northwood-Blyth and co-founder Christine style the new collection and share their favourite pieces. Shop their highlights below.
‘I don’t really wear heels that often, so I tend to style my tailoring pared-back with sneakers and jeans – and I like to mix it up with vintage, too. These pieces are super-comfortable and really well made. You can tell straight away that the cut and fit of these styles are really considered. Staples are always best.’
‘I wear tailoring day to day. For me, it’s the best way to feel comfortable and still look put together. I tend to stick to a uniform and Wardrobe.NYC is great for this. The new tailoring collection covers the key pieces I was missing – it’s my new uniform for 2020. I love the way these pieces are cut. They’re the perfect fit on me and that’s quite hard to find. I love the thickness of the pants, skirt and jacket – they keep their structure, which I love.’
‘This collection is elevated and refined, with timeless tuxedo pieces that work for both day and evening. To create a collection like this we think about our release theme, and work to create the perfect version of each wardrobe staple. For me, it’s the new double-breasted coat, the tuxedo blazer and our best pair of leggings yet.’
