Exclusive: Hair by Sam McKnight

The easy updo
Begin by spritzing Modern Hairspray through hair to add hold, then apply Happy Endings Nourishing Balm to de-fluff and separate ends. Next, spray Modern Hairspray onto the back of the hair and with a soft-bristled brush secure it into a high ponytail, but don’t pull the ends all the way through. Mist some Easy-Up Do spray onto your topknot for added texture and grip, then fold and twist the hair to create shape — secure with pins. Finally, spray Modern Hairspray to control the wispy hairs around your hairline and onto the ends for a feather-like effect.
Cool-girl waves
Mist some Modern Hairspray onto sections of hair before wrapping round a medium curling iron — curl each section in an alternate direction. For extra volume, throw your head upside down and mist Cool Girl Barely There Texture Mist all through the hair. Now, pull back the front sections and secure them in the back with a small elastic. If your hair’s a little too wavy, loosen it by blowing hot air on it and holding it taut until it cools. Everyone loves a great hair accessory, so elevate the look by topping it off with a black velvet bow.
