calico print shirt dress
New! Order by phone
Founded in 1961 by innovative designer Yves Saint Laurent, French luxury fashion house Saint Laurent fuses expert craftsmanship with the label’s signature rock ‘n’ roll flair. From Yves Saint Laurent Vintage archives, this dress exemplifies the brand’s ability to use subtle tailoring-inspired details to create bold designs that never go out of style. The abstract print gives a relaxed feel to this piece, whilst the sharply contrasting collar and cuffs inject it with attitude – throw a studded leather jacket over it and chunky boots to finish the look.. Circa 1980. Please note that vintage items are not new and therefore might have minor imperfections.

The couture house of Yves Saint Laurent was founded in 1961 and has since become one of the most influential labels of the 20th century. The designer popularized fashion trends such as the beatnik look, safari jackets, tight pants and tall, thigh-high boots, and of course the creation of arguably the most famous classic tuxedo suit for women in 1966, Le Smoking suit.
