Since moving from his hometown of Lagos to New York six years ago, lifestyle blog editor Igee Okafor has gained an appreciation for his new city’s inhabitants. ‘I know some people have this misconception of New Yorkers being so rude and ill-natured,’ he says, ‘but I couldn't disagree more. I've happened to meet some of the kindest and most understanding people in this city.’ Living in the Financial District, he takes a suitably considered approach to dressing. ‘I enjoy a minimal sense of style,' he says. 'Clean and beautiful clothes that are easy to style with the right amount of polish. A bit of colour, structure, cohesiveness and sexiness in an understated manner goes a long way for me. As does a double-breasted suit. These days, I almost feel uncomfortable in anything else.’ Here, he offers his edit of the new season. In shot: Igee wears cufflinks by Fefè and loafers by Givenchy.
