Four men, four cities, four backgrounds, four professions. Here, they tell us how their city – and their lifestyle – informs the way they get dressed, and edit their favourite pieces from JW Anderson.
‘I don’t believe in following trends. You can look good in a lot of things if you have the confidence – and, more importantly, restraint – to pull it off. Copenhagen isn’t an iconic city for fashion like Paris, NYC or Tokyo. People dress well and smartly here, but mainly they dress for the weather.’
‘Clothing has no gender to me – so as long as it looks good, I'm wearing it. I also really enjoy playing dress up and not restricting myself to men- or womenswear. I’ve lived in various cities; I always come back to London, though.’
‘I like being spontaneous with my style: simplicity is the key. Dubai is such an advanced and modern city, with its own beauty that you won’t know until you really live it!’
‘I’m pictured in a client’s home in Chelsea – the furniture selection includes my favorite designers. I guess my style is casual: I always wear black or navy, with fun accessories. I feel like the whole of New York City is in a casual streetwear moment. The city is constantly changing… sometimes for good, sometimes for bad.’
