Scandinavian style isn’t quite as straightforward as you’d think. Here, three men share their perspective on what Oslo is really like – and share their favourite pieces of the season.

Rune J’Atoche, fashion creative

‘I’ve lived in Oslo my entire life, though I have recently moved a little further out. I think the city is changing a little – people are daring to experiment a little more. I wear a mixture of masculine and feminine in my daily outfits. It’s a little classic, a little street.’ In shot: Rune wears shirt and trousers, both by Vyner Articles; and bag by Acne Studios.

Inti Wang, curator and model

‘I was born in Colombia, but I go back and forth between there and Oslo – I’ve lived just outside of the city for the last four years. People think it’s like living on the North Pole, but there’s a lot to like here: the nature, the silence, the calmness. Though I guess it can get a little boring at times.’

Chris Abolade, musician

‘I was born in Oslo, and have lived here my whole life. The best thing about the city is how people really commit to their craft, whether that’s music, fashion or art – people dare to dream big. I think Oslo is really on the way up: the Scandinavian look is really making an impact around the world.’ In shot: Chris wears trousers by By Walid.
