NikeLab Air Force 1 Upstep LX sneakers
Since its conception in 2014, NikeLab has been demonstrating its allegiance to innovation in the fields of performance and high design, devising a new bloodline of iconic cuts via creative collaborations, unexpected capsules and re-editions. The legendary Air Force 1 shoe launched in 1982, taking its name from the aircraft which transports the U.S. president, and the first basketball cut to carry Air technology. Reimagined in December sky blue cotton, the Air Force 1 Upstep LX sneakers elevate the original with a thicker ridged sole, elaborated with sequin embroidered rose motifs and a crushed velvet insole. True to tradition, the court shape keeps a round toe with a lace fastening, logo patch at the tongue and a branded heel counter, with a thick foam midsole for cushioning and durability.

One of the world’s great sportswear brands, Nike produces tens of thousands of pairs of sports shoes each year. Conceived in 1962 by Bill Bowerman and Philip Knight, the actual name Nike followed in 1978. The brand’s trademark ‘tick’ or ‘swoosh’ is now instantly recognisable the world over. The label constantly innovates on new designs and reissues its classic ones - in doing so, Nike has developed a cult following.
