Green and red cotton jacket from JC de Castelbajac featuring a deep v-neck with a black trim, long wide contrast colour sleeves, two black patch pockets, a ruched waist with a drawstring fastening and a contrast white back with a sketch print. This jacket is reversible. Please note that vintage items are not new but often between 20 and 50 years old, and therefore will always have minor imperfections, even when the items have been used and worn with love and care.

Jean-Charles de Castelbajac is a fashion designer known for his playful designs referencing futurism, sportswear and in the 1980’s ‘Wearable art'. He was born in Casablanca in 1949, moving to France with his family in the mid 1950s. He first opened his own business in 1975 and while continuing to design under his own name, he simultaneously created Sportmax for the Italian house of Max Mara. He also started designing for the Paris house of Andres Courreges in the mid-90's. In 1997, Castelbajac designed garments for the Pope and senior ecclesiastical members of the Vatican. In subsequent years he has produced a collection of home furnishings in addition to his clothing line
