Perfect dresses for working from home
When it comes to working remotely, finding pieces that strike the perfect balance between comfort and style is key. A fan of throw-on-and-go dresses, fashion photographer Sisilia Piring (@sisiliapiring) edits the styles that do all of that and more, courtesy of US boutique The Webster.
‘A dress is perfect for when you’re in a hurry — all you have to do is match your accessories and you’re good to go. I’d recommend adding fun touches, like a headband or a statement shoe.’
‘I usually look for sleek silhouettes as I'm 5’4”, so some dresses can drown me and sleeves tend to look longer. I can always take it to a tailor, but with the current pandemic it takes a bit longer to get pieces back.’
‘I’d describe my style as playful, which is why I chose this Jacquemus dress: not only does it make me excited for warmer months, but the cut-outs are splendid.’
‘I love this Proenza Schouler dress with its balloon sleeves and vintage silhouette. It’s flattering and I like that it has pockets. I dressed it up with red heels and a headband to give it a vintage feel.’
‘I’ve recently started to gravitate towards solid colors, and the dark green Khaite dress is stunning. The slim fit and neckline made me feel sexy.’
