German-born Stephan Schneider graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 1994. His graduation collection won a prize which enabled him to present at Paris Fashion Week, from which his business launched immediately. Schneider designs for men and women in a highly personal and recognisable way. Using the same fabrics for both, he adds austerity to the women’s and a gentler touch to the men’s balancing nostalgia and reality.
