Comme Des Garçons Vintage
stitch-detail single-breasted coat

Description

Founded in Tokyo in 1969 and also prestigiously present in Paris, Comme des Garçons is a luxury Japanese house deeply associated with the arts and international cultural projects. Crafted in Japan from a substantial wool blend, this tonal grey coat features a classic pointed collar, a concealed front button placket, long sleeves with button-tabs at cuffs and side pockets. Notice the sinuous stitch detailing and the textured stripes adding a dash of personality to the classic silhouette. Please note that vintage items are not new and therefore might have minor imperfections.

Designer : Comme Des Garçons Vintage

Designer Rei Kawakubo is the figurehead of Comme des Garçons, which is now a design empire - Kawakubo is regarded by many in the fashion industry as a genius. The often avant-garde and always influential label was created by Kawakubo in Tokyo in 1969 before heading to Paris in 1981 where it garnered both acclaim and controversy with a debut collection of distressed and deconstructed pieces. The modern Comme des Garçons brand, which encompasses an entire family of sub-brands in fashion and fragrance, is worn by men and women with an esoteric style stance.
