For some of us, summer doesn’t mean sunshine 24/7, which is why light layers are a staple of the capsule wardrobe. Start with a vest as your base and add a white button-down shirt, finishing with a sweater for when the evenings get cooler. As with every aspect of a capsule, look for neutral colors — and remember, a single red item can act as a neutral too.
