The shiny new Prada collection has landed on Farfetch, and we’ve got our eyes on the prize – this traffic-stopping Sixties pin-up skirt, complete with an audacious feather finish (naturally).
If you’re thinking Prada’s poster girls look familiar, you’re not wrong - these sixties bombshells come courtesy of American artist Robert McGinnis; aka the man behind the iconic pulp illustrations on the posters for Live and Let Die and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. And the bibliophiles among us will recognise the lady on Prada’s skirt as the very same femme fatale on the cover of Brett Halliday’s cult paperback Never Kill A Client.
