Founded in Florence in the early 1970s, eponymous label Roberto Cavalli has become an internationally celebrated fashion-house synonymous with flamboyancy and glamour. Newly-appointed British creative director Paul Surridge was previously affiliated with top brands including Zegna, Burberry, Christopher Kane and Raf Simons, and smoothly carries forward the strong codes of Cavalli. Surridge re-immersed the label into its rich Italian heritage, stepping into reign with a 70s-inspired aesthetic. The designer continues to deliver the kaleidoscope of bright colours, provocative designs and vivid animal prints that the label has come to be famous for.
