Nike's Cortez Basic Jewel sneakers were inspired by the 1972 original which were designed by the label's co-founder Bill Bowerman. Instantly recognizable thanks to their slimline silhouette, the Cortez Basic Jewel sneakers have been constructed with a smooth white leather upper complete with blue accents and boast a foam midsole for lightweight cushioning and a ridged rubber outsole with a herringbone pattern for longlasting traction.
