Designer : Eugenia Kim

New York-based accessories designer Eugenia Kim is known for her collection of hats that flatter and accentuate the shape of a woman's face. It was after graduating from the Parsons School of Design and completing a year-long job at Allure magazine that Kim found herself with a budding hat collection and several shop owners who wanted to purchase the designs. Since founding her eponymous line, Kim has opened a retail store, created a shoe line, won the Perry Ellis Award for Accessories Design from the CFDA in 2004, and in 2006 she published a book on hatmaking.
