Versace Vintage
floral-printed ruffle shorts

Description

Characteristically bold and vibrant, these multicoloured floral-printed shorts are from Gianni Versace's Miami-inspired Spring/Summer 1993 collection. They have been immaculately designed in Italy from layers of green and yellow printed silk chiffon with a floral pattern and a striped lining. Modelled on the runway by Marpessa Hennink and featured in Versace's advertising campaign, the shorts also boast playful ruffle trimmings and a rear zip fastening. Please note that vintage items are not new and therefore might have minor imperfections.

Designer : Versace Vintage

Italian fashion house Versace was founded by designer Gianni Versace in 1978. His signature style of opulent, high-octane glamour became one of the most influential aesthetics of the late Twentieth Century. After Gianni’s death in 1997, Donatella, his sister took the creative reins and has continued to steer the house in a carefully considered direction that stays true to Gianni’s legend.
