Samantha Sung, a native of South Korea, moved to the United States to pursue design, where she began working for Ralph Lauren. Sung became the Senior Designer for the Ralph Lauren Collections, before becoming the Design Director of Cerutti and later Design Director for Tocca. In 2006, Sung launched her own successful line, S-SUNG, characterised by her trademark, vibrant prints. S-SUNG designs draw inspiration from exotic cultures, history and anthropology, fusing elements of Eastern and Western cultures.
