Christian Dior Vintage
printed denim jacket

Description

At a prime era of post-war, restrictions were banned, introducing a time of ostentation, celebration and luxury. One of the most authentic revolutions of the decade was created by Christian Dior. For many years until his natural death, the French designer baffled fashion consumers and fanatics with a new shape each season, never ceasing to amaze. This orange and black silk and stretch cotton printed denim jacket from Christian Dior Vintage features a classic collar, long sleeves, a front button fastening, side zipped pockets, contrasting panels and a sheer panel. Please note that vintage items are not new and therefore might have minor imperfections.

Designer : Christian Dior Vintage

Christian Dior founded his Parisian namesake brand in 1946. The house of Dior is famous for its haute couture designs and for creating the ‘New Look’ that would influence the style of the fifties, and has become a leading luxury brand with a reputation for innovative style. In 1950 Jacques Rouët devised a licensing program to place the now-renowned name of "Christian Dior" visibly on a variety of luxury goods. It was placed first on neckties and soon was placed on hosiery, furs, hats, gloves, handbags, jewellery, lingerie, and scarves.
