Here Come The Hot Steppers
Stride ahead of your competition this season with the most innovative shoe styles from Gucci, Off-White and more…

Loafers are no layabouts
They used to get a bad rap for being neither smart nor casual, but as that boundary has blurred, the humble loafer’s stock has risen. This season they’re the perfect foil for cropped tailored trousers, or used as a dressy contrast to distressed denim.

Old shapes, new waves
Today’s hottest kicks have one foot in the past and the other very much in the future – from McQueen’s modern ode to the Adidas Superstar, to Raf’s riff on the InstaPump, the favourite shapes of old are being reinvigorated for AW17.

Loveable brogues
Traditionally the country bumpkins to the Oxford or Derby’s city blades, this season is rich with innovative interpretations of the brogue. Featuring rainbow soles, frills and embroidery details, these are styles that can more than hold their own in town.

Hi-top heaven
Wallflowers look away now because this season’s hi-tops are big, brash and most certainly bold. In fact, statement hi-tops have become hero streetwear pieces in their own right and are now all the glue you need to make a casual outfit stick.

Derbys with a difference
The archetypal office shoe finds itself off-piste for AW17, as designers rip up the rule book and reimagine the Derby in myriad guises. Embellished with buckles or straps, you’re now just as likely to find them at the feet of a pair of wide-leg trousers as you are a business suit.

A habit for monks
The monks of an AW17 persuasion aren’t praying for a quiet life. Sure, there are plenty of 1- and 2-buckle classics to please traditionalists, but we’re taken with this season’s more unusual colours, and varieties by the likes of Givenchy, Santoni and Stella McCartney.
