    Grethen House is an upscale women’s boutique specializing in unique clothing and accessories by cutting-edge designers. The Grethen House customer is seeking alternatives to the impersonal service and ubiquitous merchandise of department stores, and appreciates the conscientious service and extra attention a small, family-owned boutique provides. Grethen House was established in Clear Lake, Iowa in 1953 by Greta and Henry Thomas—the name Grethen is a combination of their first names. Daughter Mary took over the store in 1989, and currently works with her son, Tadd, and his wife, Maggie.

    Paris-based label Yazbukey adds a touch mischief to the world of jewellery and accessories. Using simple materials such as plastic and rubber, the label takes inspiration from popular culture and pop figures to develop quirky pieces with mass appeal. The label was founded in 2000 by sisters Yaz and Emel Kurhan, who’s resumes read like a who’s who of the Paris fashion elite.
