    A
It would be easy to feel intimidated by this boutique, housed in a harbor-front modernist masterpiece and run by a trio of chic sisters, Dawn Klohs, Denise Schaefer and Apryl Schaefer. Instead, A’Maree’s implores you to ‘come as you are, have a cookie and leave feeling like a million bucks’. Maybe it’s something in the Californian air.

    Designer: RUE DU MAIL

Martine Sitbon designed at Chloé and under her own name throughout the 1980s and 90s before creating the Rue du Mail label in 2004 with business partner Jimmy Chan. Named after the Parisian address of the brand’s headquarters, the label showcases Sitbon’s legendary talent for design that melds an understanding of rich, luxurious fabric with hard-edged and urban elements. Rue du Mail represents a modern elegance that is unmistakably Sitbon.
