    A native New Yorker with a passion for travel, Claire Distenfeld began collecting remarkable objects and experiences at a young age. When Claire, in collaboration with her father Fred, decided to share this vision with the world, she found it just off Madison Avenue on 69th Street, a five-story townhouse situated at the crossroads of fashion, art and design. With the help of interior designer Ryan Korban, Claire and Fred transformed the space into a treasure trove of the world’s finest items and named it Fivestory. Today, Fivestory’s men’s, women’s and kids’ ready-to-wear, showcases renowned international designers alongside cutting-edge creatives.

    Italian brand Pollini is a footwear company founded in 1953 by Vittorio, Alberto,Lucia and Lidia Pollini who continued the tradition of their father Ettore. In 2008 Jonathan Saunders was appointed as creative director for the ready-to-wear collection and licensed product ranges. Nicholas Kirkwood was appointed style director for shoe collections and fashion coordinator for the bag collection, and has now been appointed creative director. His first full collection will debut in Milan during fashion week in September 2011.
