SHIPPING FROM: WENDELA VAN DIJK, Rotterdam

    WENDELA VAN DIJK
Wendela Van Dijk opened her first shop after completing art school in Rotterdam in 1996, followed by a second outpost in 2005. In addition to a remarkable selection of Dutch and Belgian designers, Van Dijk’s edit covers everything from superfine cashmere knits and hand-knitted oversized sweaters to jogging trousers, classic pumps, dresses and two-piece suits. There’s great scope to mix feminine with androgynous, with a focus on uncomplicated, flattering fits.

    Designer: Paul Smith

Paul Smith’s modest beginnings in the world of fashion started with a menial job at a clothing warehouse in his native Nottingham when he was 16. His interest in fashion, art and style grew and by 1970 he had opened a shop selling his own designs among the collections and in 1976 he showed his first menswear collection in Paris. He has an empire of 12 sub-brands and designs everything from womenswear to tea-sets. Smith’s aesthetic blends a very British sense of humour with his love of traditional English clothing and his signature multi-coloured stripe is famous the world over.
