American-born, Paris-based Marc Jacobs is a force to be reckoned with – designing mainline and ready-to-wear collections for Louis Vuitton, his own line Marc Jacobs including accessories and sunglasses and diffusion line Marc by Marc Jacobs (introduced in 2001). It seems he can't put a foot wrong when it comes to fashion. Renowned for his playful and changeable aesthetic, Jacobs has won seven prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) awards including Womenswear Designer of the Year.
