Johnson Hartig is the driving force behind the ecologically friendly label, Libertine. Together with Cindy Greene, the pair launched the label in 2001, citing diverse influences including romantic literary icons and skateboard culture. Each piece is made from a deconstructed item of existing clothing, and staple elements include frayed edging and macabre graphics.
